Take the free roaming world of games like GTA, have the combat styling of Devil May Cry, add some small squad strategy elements into the mix, and put it in the world of Metal.

the game seemed pretty linear in both objectives and game world from what i played, but perhaps it opens up later in the game. I am particularly impressed with the presentation values in the game, the animation specifically is extremely well done.
